Ms. Folkman has spent the past 20 years developing and successfully managing client relationships, national sales and marketing programs, contracting, product, and clinical programs. Her experience includes identifying and implementing projects to improve clinical and financial outcomes for high-touch healthcare service organizations, including Medicare Advantage and Managed Medicaid plans, as well as commercial and self-funded payers.

Prior to joining Care to Care, she had served for two years as National Director of Business Development for Health Management Systems, working with clients requiring clinical program integrity services, coordination of benefits, prior authorization programs and cost avoidance, cost containment, fraud prevention, waste and abuse avoidance, and overpayment auditing programs. She has served in executive leadership roles at EvergreenRx, Walgreens Company, Caremark CVS (Specialty Injectable division), DMI Transitions, and the Cleveland Clinic Health System. Ms. Folkman has also held positions at Kaiser Permanente of Ohio and Summa Health. Carol has training in Healthcare Compliance, Total Quality Management, Medical Economics and clinical experience as an Intensive Care Respiratory Therapist and Clinical Instructor. She earned her B.A. degree at Ursuline College and holds a Masters.
